When the state and the country were suddenly struck with the COVID-19 pandemic and all the implications, Hele-On went to work. The County of Hawaiʻi Mass Transit Agency is partnering with rideshare programs, Uber to provide access to rides to and from COVID-19 vaccination appointments in Hawaiʻi County as part of its Hele-On Get Your Shot! campaign.
Thanks to a partnership with Uber, Hele-On passengers can get free transportation to and from a vaccination spot on Hawaiʻi Island!
You can use Uber for a free ride to and from COVID-19 vaccination appointments as defined at the following locations on island. Each individual is allowed up to four free rides (two roundtrips) with up to $15 off each ride to and from vaccination appointments.
